2013 Annual Winter Cruise Announced—14 Night Southern Caribbean Cruise on Celebrity Cruise Line’s Eclipse - February 9, 2013. 92 of us just got off this wonderful ship and we had an amazing time. Seven days definitely wasn’t long enough. The itinerary is: depart from Ft. Lauderdale; two days at sea; Aruba; Bonaire; sea day; Grenada; Barbados; St. Lucia; Antigua; St. Maarten; St. Croix, two sea days, and return to Ft. Lauderdale. We have 14 Staterooms with a balcony for $2088.25 per person double occupancy and 14 Staterooms with an oceanview for $2088.25 per person double occupancy. I could only get 14 balcony staterooms at this price, so the first to sign up will get a balcony. Right now if you booked the cruise individually (not in my group) it would cost $440 more person for the balcony and $350 more per person for the oceanview. So no matter which stateroom you get, you will be getting a bargain. An inside stateroom costs $1748.25 per person. The above prices include cruise fare, port charges, taxes, insurance and pre-paid gratuities. It does not include transportation to Ft. Lauderdale. We will charter a bus and divide the cost among all passengers on the bus. $900 per stateroom deposit due to register.

Join us on Celebrity Cruise Line’s Solstice on an 11 night Hawaiian cruise April 25, 2013. We over night in Honolulu while on the ship giving us time to go to Pearl Harbor, Iolani Palace, the Polynesian Cultural Center, or anywhere else you’d like to discover on Oahu. You’ll have the first of two wonderful days in Maui where you could go to the top of Haleakala Volcano and pier into its 3000 foot deep crater, take the exciting road to Hana, or go whale watching. The next day we go to Hilo where you can go view the still active Kilauea volcano, visit any of the lovely botanical gardens, or simply stroll in the town that was virtually destroyed by a tsunami 1960. That night the ship will sail past Kilauea volcano so you can watch the magnificent lava flow as it flows into the ocean and ever expands the size of the island. The next day we arrive at Kona, on the other side of the Big Island of Hawaii. You might want to see the Hulihee Palace - built in 1838 out of lava and coral, visit the simple Mokuaikaua church, or see the Pauako Petroglyphs or the awe inspiring Puuhonua o Honaunau National Historic Park - considered by some to be the must see place in Hawaii - built in 1550. We have 25 veranda cabins available in our group in the highly desirable 1B category. Price is $1933.18 per person based upon double occupancy. This price includes cruise fare, port charges, taxes, insurance and pre-paid gratuities. The airfare is additional and the last time I checked Choice Air it was approx. $850 per person plus additional taxes. A $900 per stateroom deposit is necessary to book this cruise. Fabulous 14 Night Tour of Southern Italy and Sicily September 14—25, 2012 - This is a wonderful guided tour provided by Collette Vacations. You vacation starts with air out of Columbia, SC flying in to Palermo, Sicily. One of the nice things I like about Collette Vacations is that you don’t need to keep paying once you get over to Italy. There are very few optional excursions - they are already included. Your tour includes Agregento, a UNESCO world heritage site; Mt. Etna; beautiful Taormina perched high on a mountaintop; Messina; Basilicata; Alberobello where homes have cone shaped roofs and no mortor to hold them together; breathtaking Sorrento; the Amalfi Coast; visit Pompeii; and end your tour in Rome. There is no tour of Rome, but you can extend your stay. I think September is a wonderful time to visit Italy because the tourist have mostly gone home and it is not nearly as crowded. Cost is normally $3999, but it has been reduced for our group to $3899 until March 14, 2012. This price includes roundtrip air from Columbia, air taxes and fees/surcharges of $150 (subject to increase until paid in full) and hotel transfers. It does not include the Cancellation Waiver and Insurance of $220 per person. If you are interested in this trip, please request information to be sent to you on the day trip sign up sheet, or call our office at 706-364-6236 and we will send you a brochure.
Do you like to save money? So do we, and when we save money we can pass the savings on to you. If you have an email address, please email us at praugusta@knology.net with your email address so we can reduce the price of mailing our newsletter. We love to send out newsletter in a timely manner, but the cost of postage prevents us from mailing them out very often. Often when we find an incredible price on a cruise, we can only send that information out to people who have an email address listed with us - because we can send it out quickly and it gets to you on the same day. If you don’t have an email address, we are happy to mail the newsletter to you. If you do have one, it would save us $1.00 for each newsletter in printing and postage cost if you would provide us with your email address. Also, if you no longer plan to travel with us, we would appreciate it if you would let us know that you would like to be removed from our mailing list. Thank you very much!
