The motivation for this site grows out of the excitement we feel for the beauty of flowers and plants of all kinds. It is our hope that sharing some of the beauty we have found in our backyard, and in botanical gardens locally, throughout the U.S., and around the world will stimulate travel to the beautiful places we have photographed. All of the photos were taken with a digital camera. Higher resolution prints and digital copies are available. The tropical plants in the backyard are all nurtured with natural mulch, and with fertilizers and garden tools from local garden supply. Below are links to garden related sites.
